One of them is celebrated every year, during the month of May and it's called "La Maggiolata". It's a sort of festival of flowers celebrating the beginning of summer, where the country people of Lucignano create parade carts adorned with thousands of flowers and drive them in a long parade through the streets of the little medieval center. During the two-week festivity, Lucignano is animated by several musica bands performing at every corner and in every street.
